Reprap 3d printer: Power a heated bed with 24Vdc using a SSR and an additional 24Vdc power supply (Updated)

12Vdc電源でHeated bedを加熱するとなかなか温度が上がらない。24Vdcの電源(240W)とリレーを追加して、24VでHeated bed を過熱することに。

update:ラップトップの電源(12V/5A)に交換。でもパワー不足でうまくいかない。ステップモータへの電流設定は0.94A。1.19Aまでは大丈夫のはずなので様子を見ながら高めに調整する予定。

Update: Used 12Vdc 5A laptop power supply instead of a big 12V switching power supply. Turned out this 60W (12V/5A) not enough power. I can't use it.
The current setting of my driver for a stepping motor is ~0.94A less than 70% of full current setting.


12Vdc power supply is a bit difficult to heat the heated bed quickly because of a low resistance of the heated bed for 12Vdc. I powered the heated bed with 24Vdc using a solid state relay and an additional 24Vdc Power supply (240W).
,,, An AC/DC SSR is cheaper than a DC/DC SSR. I used an AC/DC SSR.
